Dylan Bell
Spray paint, stencils and screen prints offer endless possibilities in finish and application, for the collectable numbered editions on paper that Dylan produces, the one-off pieces on aluminium panel and wood, and the paste-up street art.
The steps involved in planning and executing these pieces, on both the layered stencils, screen prints, and original paintings, have been exciting to watch and Dylan is looking forward to developing ideas further through more significant format works and exhibitions. The ever-expanding range of unique pieces are produced in small batch multiples and are individually titled, embossed, editioned and signed.
“I’ve been using spray paint to explore a range of processes and finishes since my first paste-ups back in ‘97. I enjoy breaking all compositions into a series of colour blocks/layers, and devising an order of colour … I love the process. Offering clean, bold pieces of art with a bit of symbolism and back-story, always original and handmade”.
