Antony Haylock

Since the early Rave scene days of the late 80’s, Antony Haylock or “H” as he is known, was a leading figure in bringing the art of the time to the masses. His work featured on many of the iconic flyers with his partner PEZ.

He has always had a fascination with the iconic object. Something that has the power to evoke an emotion, a memory, a visual time stamp, something that compels us to covet them. He finds within the coldest, most inanimate object, humour and representation beyond its purpose.

His work is a visual diary of thoughts and emotions. It is a means of downloading these encounters, sometimes finding deeper meaning beyond it’s inception.
