Haywain With Cruise Missiles
Leeds Version
(Postcard)
“The decision to station Cruise missiles in Britain was announced without debate in Parliament in December 1979. The cruise missile is small enough to be carted round country lanes on transporters from which it can also be fired. Soley under United States control, it will turn huge areas of England into a military target. As a first-strike weapon, its only purpose is to unleash a holocaust.
160 of these additions to the English landscape are due in 1983.”
Year: 1980
